Mistral has always been on the fore front of design and development. Pushing constantly into new directions and fields. Making what we have better is what we do every day.
Mistral has always been on the fore front of design and development. Pushing constantly into new directions and fields.
Making what we have better is what we do every day.
Dating back to the Mistral competition from Ernstfried Prade followed by the Naish area and now onto Gianni Valdambrini and Chris Lockwood designs Mistral’s “passion to perform” is glowing stronger than ever. For us to perform does not just mean to win but also to deliver the best possible products into the hands of our customers.
To make every Mistral rider perform better and have more fun. That is our motto and our passion. It shines through in our construction and finish of our boards. All boards with a specific construction to make them handle the harsh reality of what we expect every Mistral rider to put them through.
Myself I have been involved in Windsurfing at the very highest level for over 30 years now and for me it is simple, Once a windsurfer always a windsurfer. In the 80’s the sport was stronger with a bigger number of entrants into the sport, But today the materials is so much better. The time needed to go from Zero to Hero is in some cases a question of month’s where as it used to be forever.
That is the real progress that the sport as a whole has done. Today, Windsurfing remains one of the most dynamic sports there is with boards developed to perfection ranging from the Mistral one design to the latest speed board. To get into windsurfing there have been no better time than now and for you die hard windsurfers like myself.
The time is as good as any to go out and rip it up!!
